Sandwich 10K Race Report

A warm and sunny Sunday morning, the OverRun community gathered at Sir Roger Manwood’s school in Sandwich ready to take on 2 laps of the quaint medieval town, hosted by Sporting Events UK.

Taking place on Sunday 19th July, there were roughly 20 OverRunners out of 501 runners taking on this fast, fairly flat route running through the town, out along the quayside and along to the turning point just before sandwich bay. The atmosphere was fun and friendly, and being a two lap course we got to see and pass other running buddies that we were able to cheer on as they sprinted past in the opposite direction.

Results were excellent with many personal bests within the OverRun team!

Congratulations to all that achieved and got over the finish line with determination on what turned out to be a rather hot and very warm run!
