ParkRun Tour: Whitstable

A group of 11 OverRunners headed to Whitstable on 2nd May 2026 to take on its coastal parkrun for our latest bit of tourism.
The two-lap course runs right along the seafront, giving you great views the whole way round. It’s a lovely route (minus the hill), even if the storm flies decided our OverRun tees were the main attraction.
Big thanks to the marshals and volunteers who make parkrun happen every week, it wouldn’t run without them.
A special mention to Jay for finishing 2nd in a time of 19:13.
We wrapped it up with a well-earned breakfast at the Marine Hotel, which made the whole trip worth it.
Bugs aside, Whitstable is a great one to tick off.
