ParkRun Tour: Bedgebury Pinetum

Thirteen OverRunners took on the tough Bedgebury Pinetum Parkrun on Saturday 22nd August.
The course consists of over 100m of elevation winding through the beautiful pinetum. It starts with a quick downhill section before sharply heading up hill. You then spend the rest of the run heading up and down the trails while soaking in the views.
Well done to club ambassador and run leader Matt McCarthy who finished as the 6th runner in 19:27.
The volunteer crew at Bedgebury were all very welcoming and supportive so a massive thank you to all of them. Afterwards we headed to the cafe at the pinetum to enjoy a nice coffee, followed by a nice stroll around the forest.
Thank you all to those who came and we hope to see you again at our next Parkrun tour!
